Former U.S. President Donald Trump is inviting purchasers of his digital collectibles to a dinner at his Mar-a-Lago estate.

Trump, who is facing charges related to his alleged involvement in trying to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia, took advantage of a break in court proceedings to host this dinner for his NFT supporters.

These invitations were extended to those who bought a minimum of 47 of his NFT cards, priced at $99 each.

What is Trump Mugshot NFT Collection?

The Trump Mugshot NFT collection was launched in December 2023, featuring digital artwork of Trump’s mugshot taken during his August arrest and other images.

Buyers who purchased 47 or more NFTs were given the opportunity to attend a dinner at Mar-a-Lago, while those who bought 100 or more were granted access to a cocktail reception before the dinner. This event is part of a trend where public figures utilize NFTs to offer exclusive rewards.

Trump revealed that his previous NFT ventures generated earnings ranging from $100,000 to $1M. This comes as the NFT market experiences a resurgence after a slowdown during the crypto winter.

NFTs based on the Bitcoin blockchain, such as Bitcoin Runes, have also contributed to this revival.
