Japanese publishing company Futabasha and NFT marketplace SBINFT have introduced an NFT giveaway for fans of the well-known horse racing manga “Umanari 1 Furlong Theater”.
Scheduled from April 27 to May 12, all participants will be rewarded with a limited edition NFT and will be entered into a prize draw. Out of these, 200 lucky entrants will receive signed books by manga author Miho Yoshida, while one fortunate individual will get an exclusive colored paper.
The giveaway is set to take place on SBINFT’s “SBINFT Mits” platform, which streamlines the entire process from creating the website to conducting the prize draw – and all prize delivery will be handled without the site ever requiring your personal information.
What is ‘SBINFT Mits’?
SBINFT Mits is a self-proclaimed “NFT management support service”. In essence, the platform equips artists, creators, and brands with a range of tools to nurture and enhance relationships between NFT issuers and their holders – meaning that even individuals with no web3 knowledge can leverage NFT technology to their benefit.
For Futabasha, this collaboration is a win-win-win situation. They have discovered a new avenue to engage with fans by distributing NFTs and conducting giveaways, SBINFT has a chance to demonstrate the capabilities of their “SBINFT Mits” platform, and fans stand to win exclusive NFTs and coveted prizes.
Jangdeok Ko, CEO of SBINFT, remarked; “We are delighted that our “SBINFT Mits” has enabled Futabasha to engage in co-creation marketing with fans using NFT. We believe that this initiative will set a rare example globally by delivering tangible products to fans without necessitating their personal information.
“We firmly believe that this case will pave the way for a new era of digital marketing utilizing NFTs, and simultaneously, it marks a significant step in our mission to popularize NFTs in society”, added Ko.
